This questionnaire is a general guide only. It has not yet been validated by a research, however a study is being prepared to look at the correlation between Pure Tone Audiogram Thresholds (measured hearing levels) and questionnaire score. The aim is to achieve a reasonably accurate prediction of hearing loss from a questionnaire score.
The study will report Covariance,and Correlatiion Coefficient (Pearsons Product Momentum Correlation r). The hypothesis being There is no relationship between Questionnaire score and Puretone Audiogram Thresholds
