How does Visible Speech Mapping work?

Using a computer, a hearing aid output target for an individuals hearing loss is displayed on screen.
A microphone is placed in the ear canal to measure the sound output of the hearing aid. The hearing aid can be adjusted untill the sound output is at the level required.
This is all  performed remotely with no trailing wires using Bluetooth Technology

Why is Visible Speech Mapping  better than previous systems?

The Visible speech system can measure everyday sounds.  We can measure your favourite CD or DVD. You can see, on screen, in real time, the output from the hearing aid.

Can  you measure my existing hearing aid through the Visible Speech Mapping System?
