A desire to give the best advice I can, and to fit hearing aids with the best settings possible. This desire has led to an investment in the latest fitting system – Madsen Aurical Freefit . This device enables me to see what gain the hearing aid is giving in real time on a computer screen so I can adjust the hearing aid to the international standard for hearing aids which was developed  by the National Australian Laboratories. The algorithm is known as  Non-Linear 2 (NAL-NL2). Desired Sensation Level (DSL) is also available.
